A Time to Celebrate

As this time comes around every year, I remember the scene over 2,000 years ago when the angels of God were 'oh so joyful' that the Savior of the World, Jesus was born unto men. We do join them today as we celebrate this special day when our Redeemer was born into this world, and brought us salvation.

Enjoy with us a night of celebration and fellowship as we rejoice in what He did for us. What a great opportunity also to get out of the house and hang out and be festive with other cool folks! We will have some great food, cool music, and some fun mixers to participate in. You do not want to miss out!

We would ask if you can bring something to the potluck, please RSVP with Pastor Jeff or sign up after any church service in the foyer. If you are unable to bring a dish don't worry about it. We still ask you to come out and fellowship with us in this special time of celebration!

Time to Dig Deep!

Last month after our Relating and Dating Seminar, we had a lot of questions and inquiries regarding this session during the workshop; several folks had even requested reading materials on the subject. We thus decided to do a Part 2 of this session during our meeting this weekend. If you're free this Saturday, come gain some wisdom on this subject that seems to baffle so many of us. Also it will be a great time to fellowship and just hang out!

As our custom if you can, bring maybe an appetizer or some finger foods to munch on (i.e. chips, fruit tray, cookies, meatballs, hot wings, whatever.) Just something small, that can feed maybe 5-6 folks. We will provide drinks, cups, plates, etc.

*If you are unable to bring a snack, just bring yourself and a smile and we'll call it even*

Movie Night this Saturday!

Summer is here, and its that time to catch a great flick. Meet us at AMC Mercado at 7pm to hook up with us and see a cool movie.  Don't worry, we won't force you to see anything you don't want to see.  Usually the group will divide itself into smaller groups, pending what movie folks want to see. (action, drama, or chick-flick)

4th of July BBQ and Fireworks Show

Don't be caught home chilling by yourself on our country's
anniversary! Join us, and the City of Santa Clara as we
celebrate our Independence Day. Lets be patriotic together with a good ole BBQ, some fireworks, and lots
of fun. Along with the food and evening fireworks show,
there will be a live Jazz Band, plenty of cold drinks, and games for the kids!


Things to know...

1) We will be located near Millikin School (Look for the red, white, and blue balloons).
2) There will be a charge for the BBQ, drinks, ice cream, and some of the games.
3) You may want to bring a chair or a blanket to sit on the lawn.
4) Please arrive a little early to leave time to find parking.
