Single Service Notes (7/2)

Faith That Gets Results!!

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Heb 11

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

1 Meditate the Word daily.

Rom 10:17

(Listen to gospel word teachings, PD, M Pitts, Paula White, Creflo, Joyce Meyer, Creflo, Rod Parsley, whoever) Someone who preaches the word under an anointing!!

**Read anointed books, materials.
Psalm 1 1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

** Must be acutely aware of Gods provisions & promises concerning His will; regarding deliverance, healing, peace of mind, abundant living, etc.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
2 Stay connected to His Presence & His People.
Ps 16:11 says in His presence is fullness of Joy.
Neh 8:10 joy of the Lord is your strength.

Jude 1:20
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost

Psa 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
*(1 Cor. 15:33)
bad company corrupts good character

Prov 4
23Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life

* Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream.
* Friends that don’t increase you, will eventually decrease you.
*Not everyone has a right to speak into your life.
3 Speak God’s provision & Promises.

You were designed to rule and reign in life.
Gen 1:26 God gave us the power of dominion.

Dominion Principle—(Romans 4:17) …he gives life to dead things, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Prov 18:21- Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it.

Mark 11:22-24 You can have what you say, if you believe it

Rom 10:17 -- Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Must say what God says……

Jesus is called the High Priest of our Confession.
4Continual renewing of the Mind.

**A renewed mind is vital in not just knowing and understanding the Will of God, But in walking it out. Or proving it.

3rd John1
*2Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even (In comparison to) as thy soul prospereth.Romans 12 2Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude]
The Contamination of Fear.

--Things come in and will damper, or even water down your faith.

--God will always drop in your heart something you want, or would like to have but its WAY bigger than you. To have that thing come to pass, you’ll need to guard your heart..and guard your word of promise.

2006 Yosemite Photos

On the first weekend of June, thirty of us headed up to Yosemite. Most of our time up there we spent enjoying the beauty and scenery of God's creation. Many of us made new friends while we were in awe of the majestic views there. It was a great relaxing time of fun and fellowship in the Yosemite Valley.

(Okay now the real story is.... They coerced me {Pastor Jeff} up this rugged hiking trail, where he was drenched in water from head to toe from the waterfalls...Billy yelped in horror as he was shocked outside his tent by an undersized cub ... and Pam serenaded us beyond measure with her church fiddle! lol) Enjoy the pics!

Why are they all smiling, I'm the coolest one here!!

The Lord said speak to the mountain, not climb it...wheres my cot!

Relaxing will put a smile on your face!

SermonNotes-(4/2)/Activating Love!!

Activating the Love of God

3 Main points

1) The Love of God is in us! (Need to know you have it!!)
2.) It can be increased & be matured.
3.) Benefits & priveldges.

In response to a theologian’s question about the laws, or commandments of God.
Jesus stated……….in Math 22: 37 -40
.. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38This is the first and great commandment.
39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40On these two commandments hang (Support) all the law and the prophets.

** The Promises of God’s Word, depend upon our love walk!*

Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love. (but faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.)

Rom 5:5 …The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected/matured in us.

(Amp) 12No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion and to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!

vs18 perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

1 Corinthians 2:9But as it is written: “ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,Nor have entered into the heart of manThe things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

John 3:16

1 Cor 13:4-8 Is our Love Barameter!!!

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.

Love is the basis of all Christian or Kingdom Activity. It is the foundation, and motivation for everything we do.

The word compassion is a pregnant word; its filled with revelation.
Some may think of pity when they hear that word compassion, but it has another meaning in the Gospel, that Jesus uses.

It literally means love boiling over. Young’s concordance actually says.. ‘to have the bowels yearning!’ It’s a place where the love inside you has to be given away, expressed!!
