2005 Mexican Riviera Cruise

Along with our monthly services, bible studies, and regular events, SPM does a larger vacation trip every year. Normally we schedule this event in the fall or early winter months. Last year 48 of us went on a beautiful seven day cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We thought it would be cool if we showed a few glimpses of the trip. What is SPM?

Who we are?

Single Purpose Ministries is the name of Jubilee Christian Center's adult singles ministry. SPM is made up of singles of all ages. Our function and purpose is to help each person live a life full of purpose, and on purpose. This is done through: Monthly SPM services as well as monthly activities. Our monthly services are designed to bring a relevant and encouraging word to today's singles; these meetings are great opportunities to meet other Christian singles.

The vision and heart of this ministry is to see single men and women fulfilled in every area of their lives, regardless of their marital or dating status. It is Pastors' Jeff and Sandy's desire to see Jubilee singles growing spiritually, emotionally, and socially and actively succeeding in every area of life. We believe though there may be a season (or two) in our lives when we are alone, but we should never be lonely.

What We Do?

Different event outings are scheduled each month. We have a wide arrangement of events scheduled throughout the year. These include an annual snow trip, Monterey Bike Ride, Yosemite trip, game nights, Bowling & pizza nights, beach outings, Bay cruises, and much more. Also, SPM has just launched three specialized sub-ministries. These groups include LINK (18-26 yr olds), 40Plus (40yrs & up), and Renu (Single Parents).

What we believe?

o Being alone doesn't mean you have to be lonely.

o There is nothing wrong with you if you’re unmarried.

o Meat markets should never be synonymous with church groups.

o God really means it when he says if you seek Him, He will give you your heart's desires.

o Your happiness today, should NOT have anything to do with your marital status.

o Your destiny starts today; don't wait to really start living.

o You owe it to yourself to be the best most authentic you can be.
